By accessing or using Knowzeno, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you may not use Knowzeno.
2. Eligibility and Accounts
You must be at least 13 years old and legally able to enter into these Terms. If you use Knowzeno for an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.
You are responsible for your account, credentials, devices, tokens, activity, and all content submitted through your account. You must provide accurate information, keep it current, and promptly notify us of unauthorized access.
3. The Service
Knowzeno helps users capture notes, create learning items, schedule reviews, evaluate answers, transcribe audio, and receive related notifications. We may modify, suspend, discontinue, limit, or replace any part of Knowzeno at any time, with or without notice, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
4. User Content
You retain any rights you have in content you submit to Knowzeno, including source notes, audio, review answers, feedback, and other materials. You grant Knowzeno a worldwide, nonexclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable, transferable license to host, store, copy, process, transmit, display, create derivative works from, and otherwise use your content as necessary to provide, secure, support, improve, and operate Knowzeno and as otherwise permitted by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
You represent that you have all rights needed to submit your content and that your content does not violate law, infringe anyone's rights, contain illegal material, or breach any agreement or policy that applies to you.
5. AI Features and Outputs
Knowzeno may use artificial intelligence to generate learning items, review prompts, answer evaluations, summaries, transcriptions, and other outputs. AI outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, offensive, misleading, or unsuitable for your purpose. You are responsible for reviewing, verifying, and deciding whether to rely on any output.
Knowzeno does not provide legal, medical, financial, educational certification, professional, or other regulated advice. The service is a learning aid only and does not guarantee learning outcomes, test results, professional competence, or any other result.
6. Acceptable Use
You may not use Knowzeno to violate law; infringe rights; submit unlawful, harmful, deceptive, abusive, or malicious content; access systems without authorization; interfere with the service; bypass security or rate limits; scrape or harvest data; reverse engineer the service; transmit malware; overload infrastructure; impersonate others; misrepresent affiliation; use the service for surveillance or high-risk decision-making; or use outputs in a manner that violates applicable law or third-party rights.
7. Third-Party Services
Knowzeno may rely on third-party services, including authentication, OAuth providers, hosting, email, database, security, AI, transcription, and infrastructure providers. Your use of third-party services may be governed by their separate terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party services, content, outages, acts, omissions, or policies.
8. Intellectual Property
Knowzeno, including its software, design, trademarks, branding, logos, text, graphics, and service content, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property and other laws. Except for rights expressly granted in these Terms, we reserve all rights in Knowzeno.
Feedback is voluntary. If you submit feedback, suggestions, or ideas, you grant us a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free right to use them without restriction or compensation.
9. Fees and Changes
Some features may be offered for free, for a fee, or under usage limits. We may introduce, change, suspend, or remove pricing, plans, credits, quotas, rate limits, and features at any time. You are responsible for any taxes and charges associated with paid services you choose to use.
10. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate access, delete or restrict content, disable accounts, refuse service, or take other protective action at any time if we believe you violated these Terms, created risk, caused harm, abused the service, triggered legal exposure, or for any other lawful reason. You may stop using Knowzeno at any time.
11. Disclaimers
Knowzeno is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, reliability, security, and uninterrupted or error-free operation.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Knowzeno and its owners, operators, affiliates, officers, directors, employees, contractors, agents, licensors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, punitive, or enhanced damages, lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, loss of goodwill, service interruption, system failure, or substitute services, even if advised of the possibility of those damages.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to Knowzeno or these Terms will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid to Knowzeno for the service giving rise to the claim during the three months before the event giving rise to liability or one hundred U.S. dollars.
13. Indemnification
To the fullest extent permitted by law, you will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Knowzeno and its owners, operators, affiliates, officers, directors, employees, contractors, agents, licensors, and service providers from and against claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising from or related to your use of Knowzeno, your content, your violation of these Terms, your violation of law, or your violation of any third-party rights.
14. Dispute Resolution
Before filing a claim, you agree to contact us and try to resolve the dispute informally. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. To the fullest extent permitted by law, any dispute must be brought individually and not as part of a class, collective, consolidated, or representative action.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Your continued use of Knowzeno after an update means you accept the updated Terms to the extent permitted by law.
16. Miscellaneous
These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and Knowzeno regarding the service. If any provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent. We may assign these Terms without restriction.
